Antonio

When we got the news of Antonio’s sudden passing , we were so saddened.
He was at our Christmas party with his mom and was his usual charming but quiet self.

It all seemed like a bad dream but reality hit very hard with the realization that our little champion was gone.

He spent a lot of time on the ward and was loved by everyone who met him.
When interviewed for our “Courageous Kids” campaign, his wish was to get better…and to become a doctor.

Antonio loved cricket, football, remote control cars and riding his bike – which he built from scratch.

He loved going to school and playing with his friends, and had a sense of fashion and style that his mom had a hard time controlling.1176129 10152166995778642 1234833566 n

Every clinic he could be seen speeding past our office to go and check his “family” on the ward – doctors, nurses, cleaning staff and the security officers.

He would then come back and with a shy smile on his rosy cheeks, he would ask for a toy or a book….

Antonio had a magical smile that simply could not be ignored and he will always be remembered for his strong personality. The spirit of a true fighter.

His mom AnnMarie loved him dearly and worked tirelessly to provide for him. May the Peace of God be present with the entire family .Rest in Peace ‘tonio. We Love You!
