Raphael

 We met Raphael while he was on the children’s Surgical Ward where he was recuperating after major surgery to remove a brain tumor. He did not say much but acknowledged us with a huge smile and brilliant eyes.

We found out that Raphael loved cricket and had is own ambitions of becoming a world class player.

Arnim (JBF bus driver) had the pleasure of taking Raphael and his stepdad to Southern Medical for radiotherapy and then home to Sangre Grande for a period of 6 weeks so they had the opportunity to bond. Arnim always spoke fondly of ‘Raffi’.

His stepdad’s commitment throughout his hospitalization and treatment was truly outstanding.

Sadly,, Raphael lost his battle with cancer. We ask for your prayer for his parents, siblings and family members. He will also be deeply missed by his schoolmates and teachers. May God grant them peace and embrace them with His Love.
